Mission & Vision

Our Mission

Our mission is threefold:

Creating Safe Spaces

We create safe spaces where youth, families, and communities can connect, grow, and thrive through authentic engagement and purposeful partnerships.

Amplifying Youth Voice

We empower young people by creating environments where they feel heard, valued, and confident to express themselves, develop leadership skills, and become advocates for positive change.

Advancing Equity and Opportunity

We equip youth-serving professionals, families, and communities with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to address barriers and expand opportunities for all youth. Through character development, civic engagement, leadership, public speaking, advocacy, mental wellness, and financial literacy, we prepare young people to lead with confidence and make a lasting impact.

At Let Them Talk, we believe that strong communities begin with empowered youth and supported families. By investing in youth, strengthening those who serve them, and building meaningful partnerships, we create opportunities that help every young person feel seen, heard, valued, and equipped to thrive.

Our Vision

We envision communities where every young person feels safe, heard, valued, and supported—surrounded by families, schools, youth-serving professionals, and community partners working together to create equitable opportunities and brighter futures.

How We Create Impact

At Let Them Talk, we bring our mission to life through three integrated areas of impact:

School-Based Services

Partnering with schools to provide mentoring, leadership development, social-emotional learning, violence prevention, family engagement, and youth enrichment.

Community-Based Programs

Creating safe spaces through mentorship, leadership opportunities, civic engagement, workshops, family programming, and community events that strengthen relationships and build connected communities.

Behavioral Health Services

Providing accessible counseling, mental wellness education, prevention programming, and supportive services that promote emotional well-being for youth and families.
