Our 5 Pillars

The Charge

We are committed to prioritizing the success and well-being of the Black community and our youth, and we are resolute in establishing a secure haven where Black youth, youth workers, educators, parents, and community members can confidently learn, flourish, and authentically express themselves. Through a range of services, including conferences, strategic partnerships, community enhancement initiatives, advocacy efforts, and more, we aim to foster an inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to simply ‘be,’ while engaging in meaningful growth and connection. Our unwavering dedication ensures that the empowerment and success of our Black community and youth remain at the forefront of our mission.

To achieve these goals, we will first host opportunities for education, training, and certification at conferences. Second, we aim to form meaningful Partnerships with at least 50 new youth workers by our annual September conference, fostering collaboration and growth in our shared mission. Lastly, we commit to developing Youth-Centered Initiatives, fostering Youth Leadership Development, and cultivating Community Collaborations
